This will be a difficult weekend for some
Hello one and all, another week in the bag.
This week’s JOE Friday Pub Quiz is dedicated to the football fans who simply won’t be able to enjoy this weekend until it’s basically over on Sunday evening.
Liverpool and Man City fans, I’m sure you’re nervous but you’ll be getting very limited sympathy here after the seasons you’ve both had.
No, this quiz goes out to the fans of teams at the other end of the table. Leeds and Burnley fans, this is not a weekend to be enjoyed.
And a shout out to Wycombe and Sunderland fans as well, travelling to Wembley for the League One play-off final on Saturday. There is no greater feeling than winning a play-off final, but there is no worse feeling than losing one. As a Villa fan who experienced both of these in consecutive years, I know.
So, let this be a calming place for you to relax ahead of what will largely be a torturous weekend for many of you.
