He has never appeared on the show
Gogglebox fans were shocked to learn that Julie Malone has been hiding a secret son who has never appeared on a a single episode of the iconic show.
Channel 4’s Gogglebox offers viewers a peek behind the curtain at conversations around TV and film via a number of different families from across the UK. However, eight years after one such family – the Malones – first sprung onto our screens, the matriarch of the family has revealed that she has another child.
Julie was out walking when she dropped the bombshell to her 211k Instagram followers.
“Our own, our eldest son Lee’s wedding, is in a couple of weeks,” she said after updating fans what she’s been up to lately.
Julie is usually seen alongside her husband, Tom senior, and her sons Shaun and Tom junior. While the four became fan favourites, Junior quit the show last year.
However Julie and Tom actually have two other children who don’t regularly appear on the show. Daughter Vanessa has made a few appearances in the past alongside her own children, Saoirse, Brogan and Harley.
Lee, on the other hand, seemingly likes to keep a low profile – at least in comparison to his other family members.
While Lee’s life is relatively unknown, his Instagram shows that he announced his engagement to partner Sarah outside Sale Town Hall in Manchester last year.
“It’s official, The Malones,” he wrote in the caption.
The two also share a child together, Grayson, who they welcomed in November 2021.
