Oh baby, baby. Britney is getting hitched!
Britney Spears and fiancé Sam Asghari are expected to walk down the aisle together on Thursday.
The 40-year-old singer and 28-year-old actor-fitness professional, according to TMZ, will swap vows in front of about 100 people – not including her parents Jamie and Lynne Spears, and sister Jamie Lynn are not expected to attend, the outlet reported.
While her brother Bryan is reported to be present, Britney is estranged from other family members following her legal drama over the years.
Insiders told the publication that it was not immediately clear who will give Spears away at the altar, but that the ceremony is expected to be intimate.
The couple got engaged in September of 2021, and he was seen looking for rings soon after.
Spears shared that she had a number of plans following the end of her 13-year conservatorship last November, among them getting married, buying a new home and having more children.
The star is mother to sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15, with ex-husband Kevin Federline and revealed her and Asghari were expecting in April. Sadly, they tragically suffered a pregnancy loss in May.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” she posted.
“This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along however we were overly excited to share the good news.”
“Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”
Spears and Asghari signed the message.
“We are grateful for what we have in the process of expanding our beautiful family,” she captioned the post. “Thank you for your support.”
Spears announced that she was expecting through Instagram last month, where she wrote: “I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back… I thought “Geez … what happened to my stomach ???” My husband said “No you’re food pregnant silly!!!” So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby.”
She continued: “… 4 days later I got a little more food pregnant. t’s growing !!! If 2 are in there … I might just lose it.”
