Heard’s sister is due to take the stand soon

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s legal battle has taken yet another strange turn, with Heard this time claiming that Depp used a tampon applicator to snort cocaine.

In early May, a photo was shown as evidence as part of Depp’s $50m defamation lawsuit against Heard and her counter suit of $100m. The image seemingly included a tampon applicator, which Heard confirmed yesterday as being used to snort cocaine.

At the hearing in Fairfax, Virginia, Heard, 36, was quizzed by Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez.

“When you snort cocaine typically it goes into your nose and then it doesn’t stay on the table,” she asked during cross-examination. “There’s residue from that cocaine when your lips and nose touch the table, right?”

Vasquez seemingly implied that the lines would have been messed up if Depp had bent over to snort the drugs.

Heard responded: “Well, the tampon applicator next to the driver’s license that you see is a device that I believe my sister had taught him to use in order to put the cocaine in.”

Heard’s younger sister Whitney Henriquez, 34, is due to appear on the stand in the coming weeks before final statements are made around May 27.

On Twitter, one user commented on the strange situation and wrote: “The fact that Amber Heard testified that her sister taught Johnny Depp how to snort cocaine using a tampon applicator and it is not the most bizarre testimony thus far really says something.”

The trial continues.
