Heard has previously told the court that Depp often accused her of cheating
Amber Heard has testified that Johnny Depp thought she was having an affair with Eddie Redmayne and a film director whilst she was away filming in London.
Heard starred alongside Redmayne in the 2015 Oscar-nominated film, The Danish Girl.
She claims Depp believed she was sleeping with both Redmayne and the film’s director Tom Hooper.
She had been staying on London for the filming, and said that her and Depp “communicated pretty consistently, and it was positive until it started to change.”
The 36-year-old told the court: “I got that sense that he thought I was sleeping with the director, and then it was with the actor I was filming with.”
Heard clarified that the actor she was referring to was Redmayne.
But when Depp called her at a London hotel he became angry when she didn’t immediately reply.

“We get into an argument,” Heard told the court. “He was accusing me of [sleeping with] Eddie Redmayne. He thought I was working with Billy Bob Thornton but I’d already worked with him a year earlier. He was very upset about him.”
The trial has previously heard claims from Heard that during their relationship Depp would often “explode” after accusing her of cheating.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star himself told the court earlier in the trial that he believed she was having an affair with James Franco during their relationship.
Earlier this week, a psychologist who examined Heard over almost 30 hours of appointments claimed that Depp had an obsessive jealousy towards Heard.
Depp is currently suing his former wife for defamation over an op-ed she wrote in 2018 in which she discussed the subject of domestic abuse.
Depp and his lawyers argue that the Washington Post piece falsely implies that Heard was physically and sexually abused by Depp while they were married from 2015 to 2017. He is seeking $50m in damages.
Heard is in turn suing her former husband, accusing him of orchestrating a “smear campaign” against her and labelling his lawsuit as a continuation of “abuse and harassment.”
